SCOPE OF APPLICATION

Can be used for filling joints between drywall and gypsum fiber sheets using reinforcing tape (mesh tape) and as a repair compound for quickly repairing small chips and cracks up to 15 mm deep. For interior work in dry rooms.

BASE PREPARATION

The temperature of the base and the environment must be in the range from +5 to +30°C. The base must be strong, thoroughly cleaned of dust, dirt, oil, grease, residues of loose paint, and other substances that can weaken the adhesion of the putty layer to the base. Uneven or highly absorbent substrates are recommended to be pre-treated with a deep penetration primer.

SOLUTION PREPARATION

To prepare the SUPER SATEN 100 solution, it is necessary to:

1. Take a precisely measured amount of water (7 L per 10 kg).

2. Pour the mixture into the water.

3. Mix using a construction mixer or a drill with a special nozzle until a homogeneous mass is obtained.

4. Wait for a technological pause of 5-10 minutes for the solution to mature.

5. Mix again. After that, the putty is ready for use within 60 minutes with periodic stirring.

WORK PROCEDURE

The putty is applied to the base with a smooth steel spatula. A 30 cm wide spatula is used to level small areas. The permissible thickness of one layer for continuous filling is not more than 3 mm; for partial leveling and filling irregularities — not more than 15 mm. If it is necessary to apply a thicker layer, the solution is applied in several passes with time intervals necessary for the hardening of the previous layer. The drying time of the putty layer is from 5 to 9 hours (depending on the thickness of its application, temperature, and humidity of the environment). After drying, the surface is sanded with fine sandpaper or a sanding mesh.

Drywall joint filling

The first base layer of putty is applied to the joint, into which the reinforcing tape is pressed. A covering layer of putty is applied with a wide spatula. After drying, the surface is sanded with fine sandpaper. Uncured material is washed off tools with water; cured material is removed mechanically. Attention! Water after cleaning the tool cannot be used to prepare the putty.

To prevent skin irritation, avoid contact of the solution with exposed parts of the body. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water and consult a doctor if necessary. In addition to the information set forth above, safety instructions in construction should be followed.

WARRANTY AND STORAGE

Guaranteed shelf life in undamaged original packaging is 12 months from the date of manufacture. Store in dry rooms, excluding moisture ingress on bags with dry mix. Transportation of products must be carried out under conditions ensuring the safety of packaging and protection from moisture.
