APPLICATION AREA

The mixture is designed for laying ceramic and porcelain stoneware tiles (small and medium sizes), as well as natural and artificial stone tiles with water absorption of at least 1%, on vertical and horizontal plastered, concrete, aerated concrete, brick, and other mineral surfaces. The adhesive is a versatile mortar: it can be used for filling tile joints and leveling surfaces with a layer up to 5 mm. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

SURFACE PREPARATION

The surface must be strong and thoroughly cleaned of dust, dirt, oil, etc. Irregularities deeper than 5 mm must be leveled with plastering mixes beforehand. Before starting work, it is recommended to treat highly absorbent surfaces with a deep-penetrating primer.

MIXTURE PREPARATION

1. Take a precisely measured amount of water (5.75–6.75 L per 25 kg bag);

2. Pour the mixture into the water;

3. Mix using a construction mixer or a drill with a special attachment until a homogeneous mass is obtained;

4. Wait 5–10 minutes for the mixture to mature;

5. Mix again. After this, the adhesive is ready for use within 4 hours (with periodic stirring).

WORK PROCEDURE

The adhesive mortar is applied to the prepared surface using a notched trowel. Apply the mortar to an area that can be tiled within 15 minutes. After applying the adhesive, place the tile on the surface and press it down. The position of the tile can be adjusted within 20 minutes after laying. Tile joints must be cleaned immediately after laying the tiles. Joint filling (grouting) is performed after the adhesive bond has completely dried (drying time is 16 to 24 hours). Foot traffic on floor coverings is permitted no earlier than 24 hours after laying the tiles. The tiled surface can withstand full operational load after 3 days. Clean tools with water immediately after use.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

The dry mix contains cement. When mixed with water, the product produces an alkaline reaction. To prevent skin irritation, avoid contact with exposed body parts. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water and consult a doctor if necessary. In addition to the above, follow general construction safety instructions.

WARRANTY AND STORAGE

Guaranteed shelf life in undamaged original packaging is 6 months from the date of manufacture. Shelf life is 12 months. Store in dry rooms, protecting the bags from moisture. Stack no more than 10 bags high vertically. The manufacturer's instruction for the use of the dry mix is advisory and does not replace the professional training of the worker.
